About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist with at least three years of accounting experience, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry. This role requires strong knowledge of U.S. accounting systems, accuracy in financial reporting, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for a U.S.-based transportation company.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process invoices, expenses, and payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
- Prior experience in the transportation or logistics industry (required).
- Familiarity with U.S. accounting systems and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with U.S.-based companies is highly desirable.
