On gender equality and female empowerment, International Women’s Day is an occasion to remember how far we have come. At JR Services , where over 70% of the workforce is female, we rely on the strength, ambition and talent of women every day. We are proud to be the kind of place that brings out the best in our talented and inspiring women.
We don’t need an excuse to celebrate the women at JR Services, but let’s take today to give a special shoutout to how much our company has benefited from the efforts of our amazing female employees.
Who are our women? They are mothers and daughters, wives and sisters, partners and friends. They are writers and designers, entrepreneurs and marketers. They are strong, independent, powerful women—the kind that thrive even in the face of a male-dominated industry.
Most of our staff is female. We’re proud of that fact, because we know just how many women out there have been forced to play second fiddle in their careers, or hold it back altogether in order to be a full-time parent or caregiver.
But we don’t see things that way here. We believe that everyone should have equal opportunities to shine in their career and life goals, which is why we’ve made it a priority to create the kind of environment where everyone can do just that—no matter their gender, race, religion, cultural background… you name it.
